I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No.871 re Bithrey, informing me that the Principal Civil Medical Officer recommends that he be removed to one of the Criminal Lunatic Asylums at home.

I consent to his removal and shall be glad if arrangements in connection therewith be made through the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
